First,
I've been around for a long time. I bought a cabin here in 1986, and
I've lived here full-time since 2000. I've seen all the changes first-hand,
and I know the ins and outs of various locations and developments.
I show people what
they want to see and let the property speak for itself. I'm not in the
business of arm-twisting or hard selling. But I do have some expertise
to share on the things that are different about mountain life and property.
I'm out in the field every day, showing cabins and previewing property,
and I have an insider’s knowledge of the local real estate market.
It's no secret that
it's a good time to buy and a poor time to sell.
If you are a buyer,
you need someone who will really represent your interests and work hard
for you, not someone who just wants to sell you something fast. I've
enjoyed living here over the years, and I want my buyers to have the
same experience. If you look around on my website, I think you'll find
that I have a depth of knowledge about our area and the real estate
business that will work to your advantage. If you haven't lived in the
mountains before, you'll need to learn about things like septic systems,
wells, gravel roads, and local regulations, things that aren't immediately
obvious. The buyers I've worked with tell me that I've done a good job
of bringing them up to speed on these things and helping them buy a
property that really meets their needs and qualifies as a good investment.
If you are trying
to sell your property, you need an agent who will be honest with you
about what can be done in today's market. We are still selling property,
but it has to be priced right. You also need an agent who is really
still in the real estate business full-time, not someone who is actually
working another job and just pretending to be on top of things.

in my yard.)
